How many episodes are we up to now? 6? How many more are there? 4? Fuck my dick with a cheese grater. Ok lets put on some Willy Moon and rock this shit.
This look of exasperation is perfect for my performances.
So the school is making interviews for all the clubs, of course Nozomi is directing it, and they eventually come to our girls. They showcase them as a multi-colored group of people (>insert hair joke here<). And why is someone hammering outside at 4 o’ clock on a Sunday afternoon. I mean last night it was Yippy, Yappy, and Yahooy (my neighbor’s dogs) and now this guy? But Nozomi in all her curiosity asks why is Honoka the leader of the group.
I swear to Five Guys, this girl has some killer DSLs.
The group can’t seem to answer that question. So Nico, in her infinite Idol wisdom and knowledge (Why do I even fucking try? No one reads this piece of shit blog. Even the title for this blog is unoriginal. “Ramblings”, really?), suggests that they do some sort of Idol Olympics that consists of singing, dancing, and an aura. Naturally no one really wins but they still all agree that Honoka should be the leader.
Love Live’s plot is primarily driven by the fact that their school is going to shut down unless they get more applicants. The plot of Idolmaster is mostly just an episode to episode type of deal, no real central conflict. Though one thing that Idolmaster has that Love Live lacks are characters that you really care about, even in the early episodes I felt an attachment to Haruka, Hibiki, Makoto, and everyone else. But Love Live just seems like it’s pandering to the idol otaku crowd and there are very few girls that I actually like. As for the music, it’s “ehh” I can take it or leave it. Personally I would give the show about 5 episodes to see if you like it.
Sounds good. And true that regarding Idolmaster’s characters. I loved the development you went through in the game especially. So it seems Love Live has more of a plot, if not a simple one.
Love Live has it’s moments but they’re just too far apart for me and Love Live can’t beat Idolmaster’s character development, in my opinion. If you want your Idolmaster fix I recommend just watching Puchimasu. They’re short and you get a new one everyday.
They do have a plot, though a very weak one, it’s just that I feel that it’s put on the back burner for the sake of trying to make the girls seem interesting which the plot would do naturally.
How is this compared to Idolmaster? Curious.

Nah, Idolmaster the anime is ok but as you said, episode to episode which I don’t like. More into plot/character relations type of thing.
